Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test ( HTET 2017) is a state level teacher eligibility entrance exam conducted by Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani.

 

The HTET 2017 Application form will be available in online mode.  Interested and eligible candidates must submit the online application .

Eligibility  for HTET 2017

The important HTET eligibility conditions are as follows:

HTET (Haryana TET) Eligibility Criteria For Classes I-V (Primary Stage)

  •  Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and Passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education

HTET (Haryana TET) Eligibility Criteria For Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage)

  • B.A. /B.Com with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)

HTET (Haryana TET) Eligibility Criteria For Classes IX-XII (Elementary Stage)

  • Post Graduate Degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks from a recognized university and B.Ed. from recognized university.

HTET Examination Pattern

The HTET 2017 will comprise of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four options out of which candidate have to pick one correct response. Each right answer will rewarded with one mark and there will be no negative marking. There will be three papers of HTET exam 2017 as mentioned below:

Paper I :  Candidates who wants to be a teacher for classes I to V must take paper 1. Duration of paper – I will be 2 ½ hours. The paper consists of 150 questions which are divided equally into eight sections as listed below.

  1. Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 questions (30 Marks)
  2. Language I (compulsory): 15 questions (15 Marks)
  3. Language II (compulsory): 15 questions (15 Marks)
  4. General Studies: 10 questions (10 Marks)
  5. Quantitative Aptitude: 10 questions (10 Marks)
  6. Reasoning Aptitude: 10 questions (10 Marks)
  7. Mathematics: 30 questions (30 Marks)
  8. Environmental Studies: 30 questions (30 Marks)

Paper II : Candidates who wants to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII must take paper 2. Duration of paper – II will be 2 ½ hours. The paper consists of 150 questions and would test applicants in 4 sections as listed below:

  1. Child Development & Pedagogy (compulsory) : 30 questions (30 Marks)
  2. Language I (compulsory): 30 questions (30 Marks)
  3. Language II (compulsory): 30 questions (30 Marks)
  4. Mathematics and Science: 60 questions (60 Marks) – (For Mathematics and Science teacher)

OR

  1. Social Studies/Social Science: 60 questions (60 Marks) – (for Social Studies/Social Science teacher)

Paper III : Candidates who wants to be a teacher for classes IX to XII must take paper 3. Duration of paper – III will be 2 ½ hours. The paper consists of 150 questions and would test applicants in 6 sections as listed below:

  • Language I (compulsory): 15 questions (15 Marks)
  • Language II (compulsory): 15 questions (15 Marks)
  • General Studies: 10 questions (10 Marks)
  • Quantitative Aptitude: 10 questions (10 Marks)
  • Reasoning Aptitude: 10 questions (10 Marks)
  • Subject Specific: 60 MCQs (60 Marks)
